Freeport-Robert Charles Sieferman, 94, of Freeport, died Friday, June 17, 2005, at FHN Memorial Hospital.
Born October 2, 1910 in Freeport he was the son of Edward and Elizabeth (Bull) Sieferman. He married Alberta Antoinette Ohneck December 29, 1941 in Madison, Wisconsin and she died July 28, 1990.
He owned and operated Sieferman License Agency for 30 years until his retirement in 1975. In 1954 he originated a one day Illinois license plate service using a daily air plane to the Secretary of State Office.
Surviving are his sisters, Frances Laurence of Freeport and Mary Ellen Hedtke, of Arizona; 3 special nieces, Ann (Ross Richardson) Laurence of Traverse City, Michigan, Pat (Lynn) Barr of Freeport, and Mary K. (James) Rohrick of Villa Park; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; 2 brothers; 4 sisters.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
Memorial services and interment of his cremated body will be held Saturday 10:30 a.m. in the Chapel of Peace at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
There will be no visitation.
A memorial has been established in his name.
