Robert E. Terry (Bob), 73 of Winnebago, IL passed away at this home surrounded by family at his side on January 20, 2025.  He was born July 24, 1951 in Lafayette, IN.

Bob resided in Freeport, IL as well.  He was very well known, outgoing, would help anyone and was a workaholic.  Bob retired from Kelly Springfield and was known for being a "Jack of all trades" – electrical, millwright, maintenance, as well as roofing and remodeling on the side. Bob enjoyed spending time with family and friends while grilling out.  He loved to cook and always had his favorite drink of Kessler and Coke. Bob enjoyed fishing.  He played on both dart and bowling leagues. Bob enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Bob is survived by his daughter Rachel Terry of Freeport, IL, son Greg Terry of Aurora, IL; sister Nancy Gardner of Layfette, IN and seven grandchildren, Drake (Quannie) Terry, Maikayla Johnson-Terry, Sierra (Joe Scott) Terry, Janessa (Javier Vazquez) Johnson-Terry, Jenna Manaiaracina, Dylan Reinsfield, Brianna Terry; and five great-grandchildren.

Bob was proceeded in death by his brother John and mother June E. Beck.

There will be a visitation held on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 beginning at 5 pm at Walker Mortuary.  A service will immediately follow at 6 pm at Walker Mortuary, Freeport, IL.
