Freeport - Roger L. Bahr, 77 of Freeport passed away on May 18, 2022 at home with his wife at his side. He was born on February 2, 1945 in Dubuque, IA to the late Clarence and Ellinor (Winslow) Bahr. He graduated High School and then served in the Army reserves.  He married his wife Judy Van Gorder on April 25, 1969 in Freeport.  Together they built a life that lasted 53 years.

He worked at Kelly Springfield and enjoyed hunting, painting cars and traveling with Judy.  He is survived by his wife and preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Larry Bahr.
