Roger R. Bingner , age 89, passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at FHN Memorial Hospital in Freeport. He was born in Davis, IL on September 22, 1931 to Albert Bingner and Grace (Miller) Bingner. On December 11, 1955 Roger married the love of his life Wilma (Dusing) Bingner, and they were members of St. John UCC.

Roger served in the United States Army, and was a Veteran of the Korean War. Later, he worked as a laborer at Micro Switch, from where he retired in 1997. Roger enjoyed playing Euchre in his spare time. He also loved his dog Myles, spending time with his family, and adored his grandchildren.

Roger left behind to cherish his memory his daughters, Annette (Michael) Wichman of Baileyville, IL and Janilee (Jim) Bald of Freeport, IL; four grandchildren, Morgan (Tyler) Fulton of DesMoine IA, Monica Wichman of Chicago, IL, Craig (Lisa) Bald of Davenport, IA, Chad (Cameron) Bald of Naperville, IL; brother, Marvin Bingner; Brothers-in-law, Forrest Clark, Linden Thomas; Sisters, Gladys Meinert, Joan (Jack) Lausch; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Wilma; granddaughter, Megan Nichole Wichman; sisters, Reva Clark, and Virginia (Chick) Thomas.

A private family service will be held. Interment will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. A memorial fund will be established in his name. Condolences can be shared at www.walkermortuary.com
