Freeport – Ronald W. Aden "Light Weight", 66 of Baileyville passed away on December 7, 2024 surrounded by his loved ones.  He was born on July 15th, 1958 to William and Wilma (Schneider) Aden in Freeport, IL.  He graduated with the class of 1976 at Freeport High School.  He then went on to be a Heavy Machinery Union worker, where he eventually retired.  He was also partners in Aden Snow Removal with his father until his father's passing when he became full owner.

In his spare time he loved to be busy which often involved helping his friends or family with some physical task.  His happiness truly came from making others happy.  He enjoyed riding his motorcycle with one or the other of his daughters being his passenger.  All of his grandkids and great grandkids had his heart.  He would grin ear to ear seeing their little faces.  "Light Weight" was one of a kind who was known by many and will be missed by all.

He is survived by his two daughters, Staci (John) Aden and Nicole (Chris) Aden.  His grandkids Jaydin (Serenity) Vautsmeier, Jered Vautsmeier, Taylor Niesman, Gabriella Niesman and great grandkids Legend and Legacy Vautsmeier.  Nephew Michael (Heather) Dietmeier and Niece, Jennifer Dietmeier.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Connie Aden, and many friends.

There will be a visitation held on Saturday, December 14, 2024 beginning at 2pm immediately followed by a service at 3pm all at Walker Mortuary, Freeport, Illinois.  Condolences can be shared with his family at www. walkermortuary.com.  A memorial has been established in his name.  There will be a reception at Benchwarmers following the service.
