Roxine A. Bremmer, age 73 of Freeport, IL (formerly of Dakota, IL and California) was called Home on Wednesday, May 24, 2017.

She was born in Freeport, IL on September 28, 1943, graduated from Dakota High School in 1961 and lived in the Freeport/Dakota area until 1986, when she moved to Southern California. She earned an Accounting Certificate from Highland Community College of Freeport in 1986. In 1989, she then earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accountancy from California State University in San Bernardino, CA.

She is survived by her sons, David (Laura) Bremmer of Dakota, IL and Michael (Debra) Bremmer of Moreno Valley, CA; four grandchildren, Tiffany Nichole Quick, Briana Maureen Bremmer, Heather Grace Gulley and Landon James Gulley; and two great grandsons, Ashtian Cole Brudos and Aydian Allan Clark.

In addition to church membership at Calvary Chapel Redlands, CA and the Brook Calvary Chapel in Grand Terrace, CA, she was a long-time member of the el Shaddai Emmaus Community #14 of Redlands, CA. She was also active in the Pacific American Student Exchange Program, hosting many Japanese students teaching them American customs. She was a Notary for the State of California for 20 years and also a member of the National Notary Association (NNA). She loved being a Mother/Grandmother and also her home, her dog, flowers and gardening.

A celebration of life will be held at the Indian Grove Church in Rock City, IL at a later date. Her earthly body was cremated with her cremated remains interned at the Dakota Cemetery. Her family would like to thank FHN, the Leonard C. Ferguson Cancer Center, Heritage Woods and Presence St. Joseph for their wonderful care.

A memorial fund has been been established in her name.
