Obituary
Freeport-Royce R. Richart, 76, of Freeport, died Sunday, May 2, 2004, at the Stephenson Nursing Center.
Born June 13, 1927 in Freeport he was the son of George and Klara (Kragenbrink) Richart. He married Patsy Stucky October 5, 1960 in Dubuque, Iowa.
He owned and operated Ace Window Cleaning until his retirement in 1987.
His memberships included Fraternal Order of Eagles and Loyal Order of Moose.
Surviving are his wife, Patsy of Freeport; 4 sons, Alan R. (Lynette) Richart and Michael R. Richart both of Florida, Randy R. Richart of Freeport, Joseph R. (Dana) Richart of North, Carolina; 1 daughter, Cindy (Tim) Martz of Arkansas; 1 sister, Ruby Alleman of Freeport; 13 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers.
Funeral service will be Wednesday 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens with Reverend John Hollis of First Church of the Nazarene officiating. Burial will follow the service.
There will be no visitation
In lieu of flowers memorials have been established for Stephenson Nursing Center and Stephenson County Senior Center.
