Russell Cashmore Sr., of Freeport, IL formerly of Wauconda, IL, passed away peacefully in his sleep at age 93 on June 11, 2011, joining his beloved wife, the late Geraldine "Jerie" (nee Kirk). Russell was the loving father of Russell Jr., John Sr. and the late Dean Sr.; cherished grandfather of Russell III, Lauren Brison, Damaris, John Jr., Kimberly Bernard, Debbra Robenson, Tracy, Kelly, Diana Marlow, David, Dean Jr. and Kirk; proud great grandfather of 22 and great-great-grandfather of three.
Russell will be greatly missed.
Funeral service will be 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at Walker Mortuary.
Visitation will be Tuesday 4 p.m. until time of service at Walker Mortuary.
Burial will be in the Transfiguration Cemetery in Wauconda, Illinois.
A memorial has been established for the Mayo Clinic Foundation. Memorials are appreciated and may be left at the Walker Mortuary or mailed to Mayo Clinic.
