Ruth E. Banderet, 84, of Freeport, died Wednesday, December 4, 2013, at her home.
Born July 23, 1929 in Britton, South Dakota she was the daughter of Arthur and Anna (Schuur) Moore.
She married Louie Banderet 1948 in South Dakota.
Ruth was retired from Burgess Battery.
Her memberships included First Lutheran Church and the Rebecca Circle at church and Stephenson County Home Extension.
Surviving are her husband, Louie of Freeport; her children, Elaine (David Hullinger) of Washington, Betsy (Gene) Lashley and Duane (Joan) Banderet all of Freeport; her sister, Betty Mundt of Britton, South Dakota; her brother, Clarence Moore of Normal; her sister-in-law, Marlys Moore of Brooking South Dakota; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Raymond Moore.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at First Lutheran Church.
Burial will be in the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Walker Mortuary.
A memorial has been established for Stephenson County Home Extension for 4- H.
