Freeport-Ruth M. Crase, 87, of Freeport, died Monday, August 2, 2004 at Meadow Ridge Apartments.
Born September 23, 1916 in Rock Run Twp she was the daughter of Arthur and Melissa (Wardlow) Rayhorn. She married Lloyd H. Glasser August 30, 1934 and he died October 10, 1950.
She worked at Burgess Battery retiring in 1978.
She was a member of St. John United Church of Christ.
Her memberships included Freeport Women's Club, Fellowship Club at church, and the 25-year club at Burgess.
Surviving is one son, Don L. (Marilyn) Glasser of Freeport; 2 grandchildren; 2 step grandchildren 4 step great grandchildren.
Her parents; husband; 1 son, Dale; 1 brother; and 2 sisters preceded her in death.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
Private services will be held.
Burial of her cremated remains will be in the Oakland Cemetery & Mausoleum.
