Freeport-Ruth M. Eisenbise, 86, of Freeport, died Wednesday, December 27, 2006, at Freeport Rehabilitation & Health Care Center.
Born December 14, 1920 in Freeport she was the daughter of Frank and Hazel (Popp) Wachlin.
Ruth worked for Micro Switch for 30 years retiring in 1982.
She was a member of Bethany United Church of Christ.
Surviving are her cousins, Betty Stebbins, Eleanor (William) Kilker, and Lucille Corman all of Freeport.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Wayne; and 2 brothers;
Funeral service will be Saturday 3 p.m. at Walker Mortuary with Reverend William Blomberg officiating. Burial will be in the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be Saturday 2 p.m. until time of service at Walker Mortuary.
A memorial has been established for Bethany United Church of Christ.
