Rockford: Ruth E. Ezell, 87 of Belvidere, formerly of Freeport died Tuesday March 11, 2008 at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center, Rockford. Born March 27, 1920 in Woodbine, IL she was the daughter of George and Olga (Rousch) Krell, she married Elben Bonner Ezell, he preceded her in death in 1969. She was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Freeport and was a Veteran of WWII. Surviving are three sons; Greg (Cindy) Ezell of Orlando, FL, Douglas Ezell of Stuart, FL and Ben (Vicky) Ezell of Roscoe, IL; three grandsons, Brett Ezell of North Fort Myers, FL, Lucas Ezell of Roscoe, IL and Bryan Ezell of Orlando, FL; Four granddaughters, Erin Groeneveld of Cape Coral, FL, Brittany Ezell of Roscoe, IL , Gennifer Ezell and Kristin Ezell both of Stuart, FL; One Great granddaughter Emory Groeneveld of Cape Coral, FL. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one daughter, Rosalie Vosburgh. A funeral service and burial will be held 1 p.m. Saturday at the Chapel of Peace in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Freeport with Reverend Mark Luepke of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church officiating. Visitation will be Saturday from 12 Noon until the time of service at the Chapel of Peace. A memorial has been established.
