Freeport-Ruth M. Fosler, 69, of Freeport, passed away at home on Saturday, January 29, 2005 with her family at her side.
Born February 24, 1935 in Freeport she was the daughter of Marion and Ruby (Anchultz) Schaible. She married Joe Fosler January 30, 1964.
A 1935 graduate of Elizabeth High School she worked at Micro Switch until her retirement.
Ruth enjoyed her family and friends and will be sadly missed by them.
She is survived by her husband, Joe of Freeport; daughter Joann Fosler (friend William Cary) and a stepdaughter Susan (Reginold) Price both of Freeport; her father, Marion (Phyllis) Schaible and sister, Helen (Gordon) Kilgore both of Elizabeth; stepbrother, Elwyn (Rosemary) Meyer of Galena; grandchildren, Stevie Price, Amanda Boehm, Jennifer Boehm, Jonathan Boehm; great grandchildren, Julian Moutrey and Cody DeFoy; many nieces and nephews; and great nieces and great nephews.
Her mother and 1 brother, Harvey Schaible, preceded her in death.
Funeral service and burial will be Tuesday 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens with Reverend Doug Hall officiating of Schapville Zion Presbyterian Church.
Visitation will be Monday 4 to 8 p.m. at Walker Mortuary.
A memorial has been established in her name.
