Ruth Rhea, 73, of Freeport, died Monday, July 16, 2012, at her home.
Born July 5, 1939 in Akan, Wisconsin she was the daughter of John and Opal (Fish) Vance. She married Jim Rhea in May of 1979.
Surviving is her husband, Jim of Freeport; 1 son, John Trebian of Kansas; 2 sisters, Joyce (Luther) Severson of Mt. Horeb, Wisconsin and Kathy (Cooter) Callahan of Mineral Point, Missouri; 1 brother, Jim (Jan) Vance of Warren; 8 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 1 daughter; 1 sister; 3 brothers; and 2 grandchildren.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
Memorial service will be 3 p.m. Saturday, July 21, 2012 at Walker Mortuary.
There will be a gathering for friends and family 1 p.m. until time of service at Walker Mortuary.
A memorial has been established.
