Freeport-Ruth E. Ruthe, 91, of Freeport, died Friday, August 27, 2004, at Parkview Home.
Born October 19, 1912 in Freeport she was the daughter of Charles and Lena (Hornberger) McMinn. She married William E. Ruthe June 28, 1941 and he died October 27, 1993.
Surviving are one son, Steven D. Ruthe of Freeport; one daughter, Pamela (Larry) Goodrich; two grandchildren, Jeff Goodrich and Jennifer (Leon) Grinnell; two great grandchildren Hannah and Emily all of Pearl City.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two brothers; and four sisters.
Cremation rites will be accorded.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday 10:30 a.m. in the Chapel of Peace in the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens with Reverend Don Jamerson of First Free Methodist Church officiating. Internment of her cremated remains will follow the service.
There will be no visitation.
