Sally Elaine Reed
Davis, IL - Sally Elain Reed, 64, of Davis, Illinois, died Wednesday, July 25, 2012, at home.
Daughter of Howard and Maurine (Perkins) Gale, she was born November 29, 1947, in Rockford, Illinois, and graduated in 1965 from Pecatonica High School in Pecatonica, Illinois.
She and William Gene Reed, son of William and Marjorie Reed, were married on April 23, 1966 in Pecatonica, Illinois.
She and her husband farmed for many years in the southern Wisconsin and northern Illinois area.
Most important to her was family. She married the love of her life, enjoyed raising her three children, and thought the world of her four grandchildren. She loved to read and to cook for her family.
Surviving family members include her husband; three children, Carla (Tim) Bridges of Durand, Illinois, Suzanne (Curt) Szymanski of Durand, Illinois, and Richard (Sara) Reed of Orangeville, Illinois; four grandchildren, Paige and James Bridges, Jacob and Elyse Szymanski; and extra grandchildren, Abby, Zack, and Mitch; and brother Wayne (Martha) Gale of Winnebago, Illinois.
Preceding her in death were parents, grandparents, in-laws, and brother-in-law, Richard Reed.
