Obituary
Sandra L. Engels, 66, of Freeport, died Saturday, May 17, 2014, at her home.
Born December 18, 1947 in Freeport she was the daughter of Ralph and Esther (Fitzgerald) Bookman. She married Richard D. Engels January 14, 1967.
Sandra was a member of United Presbyterian Church where she has served as a Deacon and taught Sunday school.
Surviving are her husband, Richard of Freeport; her son, Douglas (Camie) Engels of Freeport; two grandchildren, Macie and Brenna Engels both of Freeport.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
Memorial services will be 11 a.m. May 31, 2014 at United Presbyterian Church.
Friends may call 10 a.m. until time of service at the church on May 31, 2014.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established for United Presbyterian Church.
