Sandra K. Fluechtling, 61, of Freeport, died Saturday, September 6, 2008, at her home.
Born October 1, 1946 in Freeport she was the daughter of Arthur and Florence (Voss) Fluechtling.
She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.
Sandra worked at Met Life Insurance for 41 years retiring in August of 2008.
Surviving are her brothers, LaVerne A. Fluechtling of Pearl City and Reverend Duane K. (Mary) Fluechtling of Lansing, Illinois; 1 niece, Jennifer M. Jacobs of Lansing, Illinois; 1 nephew, SSG James M. (Ashley) Fluechtling of Lansing, Illinois (stationed in Afghanistan).
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be Tuesday 11 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church Reverend Willis Schwichtenberg and Reverend Ros Schultz officiating.
Burial will be in the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call Monday 4 to 7 p.m. at Walker Mortuary.
