Sandra K. Mauer, 63, of Freeport, died Tuesday, June 23, 2009 at her home.
Born March 27, 1946 in Waterloo, Iowa she was the daughter of Harry and Elizabeth (Hayes) Carey Jr.
Surviving are her daughter, Donna Lee (Patrick) Brunner of Lena; 3 sons, Dan A. Mauer Jr. and Roy J. Mauer both of Dubuque, Iowa, and Troy M. (Kris Rice) Mauer of Mondovi, Wisconsin; 4 sisters, Linda (Bob) McNamer of Benton, Wisconsin, Eva, Kathy, and Dixie; 4 brothers, Dan Carey, James, Brian, and Victor; 6 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 brother.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
There will be a gathering for family and friends Friday 4 to 7 p.m. at Walker Mortuary.
A memorial has been established.
