Freeport – Sandra K. Schadewalt, 64 of Freeport passed away on April 5, 2024 at St. Joe's Ascension Living Center in Freeport.  Born on May 26, 1959 in Freeport to the late Dale and Shirley (Kopp) Willhite.  She graduated from Orangeville High School and married Robert Schadewalt on September 5, 1986.  She worked at Economy Insurance.

Sandy aka "Willie" enjoyed Nascar, counted cross stitching, spending time at lake property up North, scratching lottery tickets and her beloved cats, Marley and Butters.

Survivors are her sister, Debra (Ron) Wubben, brother James (Deb) Willhite, stepson, Jason (Carrie) Schadewalt, granddaughter, Addison as well as uncles and numerous nieces and nephews, many cousins and special friend, Mary Seefeldt.

Preceded in death by her husband, parents, grandparents and in-laws. Cremation rites have been accorded as per her wishes.  A visitation will be held Saturday, May 4th from 12pm - 2pm.  A memorial has been established in her name for the Friends Forever Humane Society.
