Moving on to her next project, Sara Lynn Sanders passed away suddenly on May 12, 2025. Sara Lynn (also known as Lynn) was an artist, photographer, Illustrator, writer, philosopher, Elvis historian, and entertainer. Through her amazing energy and boundless imagination, she touched thousands of people all over the world.
Sara Lynn Sanders was born July 11, 1941 in Savanna, Illinois. Lynn illustrated her way through Mount Carroll High School, graduating in 1959. Her life was long and filled with so many adventures, twists, and turns. She married twice, raised three children, and established multiple businesses based on art and imagery in partnership with others and alone. She was always on top of current news and loved a lively debate.
She leaves behind a legacy of imagery and creativity. Lynn will be greatly missed by her daughter, Laurel Bergren (Heeren), son, James Heeren along with his children, Amanda, Brianna, Eli, Mitchel and her special friend Cherif Fortin and his family. She was preceded in death by son Jason Heeren, her parents, Georgia and Arthur Ferguson and her brother, Cordell Ferguson.
According to her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded and there will be no services. Condolences can be left for the family at www.walkermortuary.com .
