Sarah Stichter, age 57 of Freeport, IL passed away from a sudden illness Saturday, December 24, 2016. She was born January 13, 1959 to the late Edward and Ardella Stichter.

Sarah worked at Honeywell for 35 years until retiring. She loved listening to music, watching the Bears, cooking, and spending time with her family & friends.

She is survived by her sons, Leon (Lauren) Horton of Chicago, IL; Steven (Sheri) Cook of Orange County, CA; four grandchildren, Liam, Landon, Lexi, & Madison; Brothers Wesley (Wanda) Bender, Terry Bender, Mike (Cindy) Bender, Randy (Cheryl) Stichter, Sisters Diane Meyers, Connie (Gary) Fish; nieces, nephews, and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents and nephew, Jason Stichter.

The funeral services will be held Thursday, December 29th at 12:00 pm at Walker Mortuary in Freeport with visitation beginning at 11:00 am. A memorial fund has been established in her name. Condolences may be shared with her family at www.walkermortuary.com.
