Sebasri (Seba) Raut, age 54 of Freeport, IL, passed away on Friday, November 9, 2018, at Presence Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago, IL. She was born July 4, 1964, in India; the daughter of Pitambar Mohapatra and Kusuma Manjari Parida. She was a graduate of Ramadevi Women's College in Bhubaneswar, India. She then received her Master's Degree from Utkal University, India. Seba married Suresh Raut on June 22, 1988.

She had worked at Subway and the Dollar Tree in Freeport. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, sewing, and knitting. Seba loved doing charity work for others.

She is survived by her husband, Suresh Raut of Freeport; son, Jeet Raut of Freeport; brothers Smruti Ranjan Mohapatra, Bibhu Ranjan Mohapatra, Manoranjan Mohapatra; sister, Shakuntala Mohapatra.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A private family service will be held at Walker Mortuary in Freeport. A memorial fund has been established in her name.
