Sharon K. Bamberg, age 62 of Freeport, IL, passed away Sunday, August 19, 2018 at Azura Memory Care in Monroe. She was born March 19, 1956; the daughter of Jerry and Marjorie (Huenefeld) Bamberg. She graduated from Freeport High School and attended Patricia Stevens Career College in Milwaukee, WI.

She had worked at C.H. Little and Walmart for several years. She had also worked for Thermos. Sharon loved reading and watching movies. She was an avid Chicago Bears & Bulls fan. She also enjoyed her many collections.

She is survived by her mother, Marge Bamberg of Freeport; brothers, Larry (Allison) Bamberg of Cullman, AL, Jeff (Peggy) Bamberg of Poynette, WI, Steve (Chris) Bamberg of Freeport; and Dean Bamberg of Madison, WI; several aunts; many nieces & nephews; and many great nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandparents; father, Jerry; and nephew, Benji.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 22 ^nd from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Laurel Street Church of God in Freeport. The memorial service will be Thursday, August 23 ^rd at 11:00 a.m. also at the church. A memorial fund has been established in her name.
