Sharon E Maher, 83 passed away peacefully on February 13, 2023 at FHN Hospital. Daughter of Merle C Spahn and Leona Reiland she was born August 25, 1939 in Freeport.  She and Alan Schadewalt were married March 15, 1958 in Martintown, Wisconsin. They divorced in 1961.

She married Robert J. Maher, August 12, 1962 in Clinton, Iowa and they later divorced.

Sharon was a homemaker most of her life, working various jobs later in life, with the most recent being Swiss Colony.

Surviving is daughter Robin Koester ( fiancé Lou Rieger), son Robert Jr (Lori) Maher, grandson Jason (Carrie) Schadewalt, granddaughter Hannah (Trent) Touchet, and one great granddaughter, Addison Schadewalt.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Robert Schadewalt, sister, Barbara Fransen , and brother, Gordon Spahn.

There will be no services per her request.
