Sharon Kaye Van Heeren (Saxby), 71, went to be with the lord on the sunny morning of July 17, 2014. She was born on May 27, 1943 to Pauline and Warren Saxby.
She is survived by four siblings, Eugene Saxby of Lena, IL, Tracey (Craig) Robieson of Lena, IL, Karon Dundee of Lena, IL, and Teresa Krieder of Orangeville, IL. She is also survived by her 8 children Paula (Buck) Widener of Barnsdall, OK, Harold Van Heeren JR. of Freeport, IL, Barbara Van Heeren of Lancaster, PA, Dena (Terry) Shaver of Lancaster, PA, Warren Van Heeren of Freeport, IL, Shana (Dave) Van Heeren of Freeport, IL, Eugene Van Heeren of Freeport, IL, and Joshua Van Heeren of Evansville, IN. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren, Marion Ripley, Charles Ripley, David Van Heeren, Keri (Jeff) Ludwig, Tiffanie (Mike) Cooke, Elsie Compton, Heather Van Heeren, Lila Ripley, Mallery Ludwig, Myles Ludwig, Barry Cooke, and Ariya Brubaker.
She was preceded in death by her father Warren Saxby and her brother Gerry Saxby.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, July 25, 2014 in the Chapel of Peace at Oakland Cemetery & Mausoleum.
Visitation will be Friday July 25 10 a.m. until time of service at Oakland Cemetery.
