Shirley Elaine Brown, 83, of Freeport, died Thursday, July 1, 2010 at FHN Memorial Hospital.
She was born October 7, 1926 in Freeport. Shirley married Willard H. Brown July 6, 1946.
Shirley was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was known for her lovely paintings.
She was a member of the Northwest Illinois Rock Club.
Surviving is her husband, Willard of Freeport; 1 son, Dale A. Brown of Freeport; 2 daughters, Kathy (Richard) Pratt of Dixon and Dawn (Brian) Pruitt of Mexico Beach, Florida; 7 grandchildren; several great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Edna Harbsmeier
Cremation rites have been accorded.
There will be no funeral service.
