Shirley E. Krueger, age 88 of Freeport, IL, passed away on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at FHN Memorial Hospital in Freeport. She was born December 31, 1930; the daughter of Raymond and Grace (Barnds) Kaiser. She was a graduate of Freeport High School. Shirley married Leo Krueger on October 22, 1949; he passed on May 4, 2003.

She was a homemaker, raising and caring for her family, and worked in the family business. Her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren meant the world to her.

She is survived by her son, Richard (Janet) Krueger; daughter, Janet (Thomas) Wagner; grandchildren, Lindsay (Ken) Hill, Joshua Wagner, and Brian (Michelle) Davis; great grandchildren, Connor Davis, Ashton Davis, and Lydia Hill; brothers, Don (Pam) Kaiser and Danny (Terrie) Kaiser; sister, Ann (Gary) Obert; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leo; son, Gregory; brother, Robert; and step-mother, Elnora.

A committal service will be held on Saturday, February 2 ^nd at 11:00 a.m. in the mausoleum at Oakland Cemetery in Freeport. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Friends Forever Humane Society of Freeport. Condolences may be shared with her family at www.walkermortuary.com.
