Stephen (Steve) Clark Redfearn, 63, of Cedarville, died Saturday, October 2, 2010, at FHN Memorial Hospital.
Born July 7, 1947 in Hazel Green, Wisconsin he was the son of Vernon and Ruth (Dotzel) Redfearn. He married Judith Zipse January 5, 1973 in Cedarville.
Steve was a graduate of Scales Mound High School.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1966 to 1968 and then started at Kelly Springfield Tire Company in Freeport retiring in 2002. At the time of his death he was providing lawn service to over 30 people in Freeport.
His memberships included the Cedarville United Methodist Church, Moose Lodge, and the Eagles lodge.
"Steve would do anything for anybody, said his wife Judy. He enjoyed helping people and talking with them. An avid card player he enjoyed mowing lawn, NASCAR, and the Green Bay Packers.
Surviving is his wife of Cedarville; his parents of Galena; his sons, Kevin (Kendra) Warner of Lena, Kurt (Jackie) Warner of Scioto Mills, and Kyle (Stacy) Warner of Freeport; his grandchildren, Brandon, Courtney, Samantha, and Joshua; 1 brother; Curtis (Karen) Redfearn; 2 sisters, Janet (Leo) Werner and Janice (Kevin) Bennett; nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be Wednesday 10:30 a.m. at Cedarville United Methodist Church with Reverend William H. Blomberg officiating. Burial will be in the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be Tuesday 4 to 7 at Walker Mortuary.
A memorial has been established for Leonard Ferguson Cancer Center.
