Steven W. Nunnery , age 65, died peacefully on Friday, August 3 ^rd at home with his daughter and son-in-law by his side.

He was born December 10 ^th , 1952 to William and Norma (Nebold) Nunnery.

Steve worked for the Illinois Central Railroad and the Freeport Park District.  He recently enjoyed reading, watching crime drama t.v., going out for breakfast and shopping on Amazon.  He will be remembered for his sense of humor and positive attitude.

He is survived by his daughter, Heather (Gary) Smith and brother, Gary (Judy) Nunnery, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and the Nava family.  He was preceded in death by his parents and sons, Steven and William.

A Memorial Service will be held at Zion Church on Friday, August 10th at 1:30 pm.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Steve's name to The Freeport Area Church Cooperative.
