Obituary
Susan Isaac Maylahn, 62, of Schaumburg, formerly of Freeport, died Monday, April 21, 2014 at her home.
Susan was born August 25, 1951 in Freeport. She was the daughter of Donald and Peggy (Poole) Isaac.
Susan graduated from Freeport High School in 1969, Illinois State University in 1973, and received her Masters in Education from National Louis University.
Susan taught in the Barrington School District for 32 years as a special education teacher.
Surviving are her parents of Freeport; her sister, Karen (Mark) Moderow of Freeport; her brothers, George (Cindy) Isaac of Kalamazoo, Michigan and Charles Isaac of Cumberland, Rhode Island; her nieces, Meredith Isaac of Kalamazoo, Michigan, and Abigail Isaac of Cumberland, Rhode Island; her nephews, Adam Moderow of Freeport, Erich Moderow of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and Elliott Isaac of Kalamazoo, Michigan; and her beloved Samoyed, Igloo.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
Memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 3, 2014 at Grace Episcopal Church. Interment will be in the Grace Episcopal Church Columbarium.
