Tamera S. Glasgow, age 53 of Dakota, IL, passed away at home surrounded by her family on Sunday, July 22, 2018. She was born on September 17, 1964 in Salt Lake City, UT; the daughter of Richard and Sharon (Carter) Gartman. She was a graduate of East Rockford High School. Tamera married Roy Glasgow on May 15, 1999.

She had worked as a caregiver for home health care. She also was a dedicated and loving caregiver to her family, which was very important to her. She enjoyed riding Harley-Davidson motorcycles. She will be remembered as a big hearted and caring person who was always there for anyone who needed her.

She is survived by her husband, Roy Glasgow of Dakota; parents, Richard and Sharon Gartman of Rockford; sons, Dave (Christal) Hemmingson of Dakota and Jeffrey Hemmingson of Rockford; daughters, Amy (Matthew) Anderson of Rockford and Gabriella Glasgow of Dakota; grandchildren, Elijah Hemmingson, Maddison Anderson, Kyleigh Anderson, Jeremiah David Hemmingson, and Brooklynn Anderson; sisters, Jeanne (Chuck) Tatarinowicz of Rockford, Phyllis (Albert) Campbell of Rockford, Lora (Bob) Angelini of LaSalle, IL, Brenda (John) Affolter of Rockford, Jennifer Gartman of Rockford, and Jessica Gartman of IL; and brother, Joseph (Lani) Gartman of IL. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Norman & Delores Carter and sister, Rhonda Tell.
