Tammie Jo Heilemeier, 50, of Rock Grove went to be with the Lord Monday August 23, 2010 at FHN Memorial Hospital Freeport. Born May 28, 1960 in Freeport she was the daughter of Henry and Alma (McMillian) Heilemeier Sr. She was a 1979 graduate of Dakota High School and later was proud to have earned her cooking certificate. She enjoyed attending the Adult Daycare at Provena St. Joseph Home, coloring, video games and spending time with her family. Tammie and Larry Collalti were married in 1992. He preceded her in death in 2008. She is survived by her parents Henry and Alma; one daughter Amanda (Ryan Weiss) Heilemeier of Monroe; seven sisters Julia (Wayne) Meinert of Rock City, Cathy Greenfield of Rock Grove, Belinda (Rodney) Adams of Rock Grove, Melody Heilemeier of OH, Rebecca (Dave) Keister of Freeport, Alma J. (Gary) Sadewater of Davis, Evelyn (Mike) Zimmerman of Freeport; one brother Michael McMillian of VA; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Preceding her in death were her husband, a brother Henry Jr., niece Sember Aimes, many aunts and uncles.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
