Teresa Ann Hopper, 57, of Freeport, died Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at St. Anthony Medical Center in Rockford.
Born December 22, 1955 in Savanna she was the daughter of Lyle and Juanita (Orth) Schriner.
She attended Stockton High School and later earned her GED. She received her Certified Assistant Nursing Degree and Cosmetology Degree from Highland Community College.
She was employed at Malcolm Eaton Enterprises as a full time Nursing Assistant caring for the disabled adults.
Always happy with a pleasing personality she was a lover of animals and enjoyed going to garage sales.
Surviving are two sons, Nathan Heller of Apple River and Mark Heller of Stockton; three grandchildren, Courtney, Cole, and Nathaniel Heller; one sister, Melinda (Keith) Allen of Rockwall, Texas; two brothers, Steve Schriner and David Schriner both of Freeport; special friend, Larry Fiene of Dakota; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and stepfather, Owen Curboy.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, December 28, 2012 at Indian Grove County Church in Rock City with Reverend Paul Lamm Pastor, officiating.
Visitation will be Friday, December 28, 2012 from 9:30 a.m. until time of service at the Church
Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Mt. Carroll at 2 p.m. Friday
A memorial has been established.
