Terry Ann Smith, age 62 of Freeport, IL, passed away surrounded by loved ones on Friday, September 3, 2021 at the Lena Living Center in Lena, IL. She was born February 22, 1959; the daughter of Gerald E. Cox and Beverly (Roach) Raymond. She was also lovingly raised by her second father, Daniel D. Raymond. She was previously married to Dean Smith who were married in 1981.

She attended Freeport Senior High and entered the United States Army in 1980. She loved Packers and Brewers and enjoyed going to the games. She had a love for her kids, grandkids and cats. Terry had one of the biggest hearts a person could have. She will be remembered as a selfless person who was always helping others.

She is survived by her children, Fay (Vito) Raymond-Mullins, Jason (Krystal) Cox of Lone Rock, WI, Kimberly and her spouse of Richland Center, WI, and Trisha (Jason) Smith of Lancaster, WI; grandchildren, Mickayla, Kiya, Jenna, Trey, Miles, Dominic, Trianna, Faith Ann, Chase, Allisa, Brenton, Kendell, and Harley; great grandchild, Haveligh; siblings, Steven (Sharon) Raymond, Susan (Gary) Kerchner, and Daniel (Dawn) Raymond; several siblings from the Cox side of the family; special cousin and friend, Lisa Fay; and special sister, Sue Jones. She was preceded in death by her parents, Beverly & Daniel Raymond and Gerald Cox; brother, James Daniel Raymond; and former husband Dean Smith.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A graveside service will be held at the Chapel in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Freeport, IL at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 11 ^th . In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in her name. Condolences may be shared at www.walkermortuary.com.
