Freeport – Thelma "Earlene" Eller, 87 of Freeport passed away at home with her family at her side. She was born on June 26, 1934 to the late Sherman and Ethel Page. She raised 5 daughters while working as a home health aide for the disabled and elderly most of her life. She was recognized for her many years of excellence as a caregiver.
She was a member of the Stockton Church of the Nazarene. She loved to be outdoors, cook, crochet, read, gather with her family, travel with her long-time companion, Bob Kubatzke and listen to music.
She is survived by her daughters, Lana Sweetin of Granite City, IL; Louise (Vince) Pollak of Fremont, OH; Debbie Hamilton of Freeport; Darla (Lee) Flickinger of Pearl City; Sheila (Bob) Frederick of Freeport. Her brother, Walter (Elizabeth) Page and her sister Carolyn Roach both of Granite City, IL; 9 grandchildren and many great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents.
There will be a visitation on Thursday, December 23 rd beginning at 10:30am and a service will immediately follow at 11:30am all at Walker Mortuary. Her final resting place will be at Woodbine Cemetery in Woodbine, IL.
