Obituary
Thelma M. Powell formerly of Freeport died Tuesday December 3, 2013.
Born August 28, 1925 in Spring City Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of Howard and Isabel Hulme McIntyre.
Robert and Thelma were married in Spring City, PA and Robert preceded her in death in 2004.
Embury United Methodist Church in Freeport was their church home.
Surviving are their children, Barbara (Paul) Taylor Esmond, Linda Ditzler, St. Louis, Howard Powell, Freeport. There are five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
We would thank all who cared for Thelma in both her residency and days of declining health at Wesley Willows. Wesley Willows retirement home was Robert and Thelma's final residency in Rockford Illinois. Hospice care and many caretakers were her good fortune.
Burial is private at Grandview Cemetery, Freeport, Illinois.
