Obituary
Theo F. Hanstrom, 85, of Freeport, died Saturday, August 16, 2014, at her home.
Born November 22, 1928 in Freeport she was the daughter of Russell and Lela (Shippy) Frank. She married Arthur S. Hanstrom February 1, 1954 and he passed away February 3, 1994.
Theo was a real estate paralegal at Schmelzle & Kroeger Law offices in Freeport from 1946 through 1954 and again in 1965 until her retirement.
She was a member of Pearl City First United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her daughter, Kathy Stocker of Rockford; stepdaughter, Susan (Michael) Cates of LA Mesa, California; brother, Darrell (Moneane) Frank of Orchard Park, New York; three grandchildren, Troy Stocker, Robin and Lisa Cates; niece, Susan Calenda and Susan's children, Sarah and Michael; nephew, Lewis (Bernadette) Frank and their children, Julia, Joshua and Zachary Frank.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
Memorial graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at Cedarville Cemetery in Cedarville.
Memorials have been established for Pearl City First United Methodist Church and FHN Memorial Hospice.
