Obituary
Freeport-Thomas Pender, 83, of Freeport, died Wednesday, March 16, 2005, at FHN Memorial Hospital.
Born February 1, 1922 in Chicago he was the son of Edward and Margaret (Coughlin) Pender.
Tommy was a long time resident at Stephenson Nursing Center. He worked many years at Malcolm Eaton Enterprises in Freeport.
He loved the outdoors and was an avid baseball and Cubs fan. He always had a smile for everyone and will be sadly missed by friends and staff at Stephenson Nursing Center.
He was the last surviving member of his family.
Graveside funeral service will be Wednesday 3:30 p.m. at Calvary Cemetery.
There will be no visitation.
