Vickie L. Mann, age 68 of Freeport, IL, passed away at home on Saturday, March 14, 2020. She was born November 7, 1951 to Robert and Verlene (Smith) Becker. She married Jerold Mann on November 2, 1996.
Vickie grew up in Freeport and graduated from Freeport High School in 1970. She later graduated from the nursing program at Highland Community College. She started working at Stephenson County Nursing Home when she was 15 years old. She retired after working there for 38 ½ years. Vickie loved gardening, boating and fishing. She spent many years caring for her elderly in-laws.
She is survived by her husband Jerold Mann of Freeport; brother, Denny (Barb) Becker; sister-in-law Lynn Becker; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, John Becker and Bobby (Ardith) Becker.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
