Freeport-Virginia Mary Keith, 90, of Freeport, died Sunday, October 2, 2011 at Harbor House in Monroe, Wisconsin.
Born July 15, 1921 in Freeport she was the daughter of Dewey and Ruby (Morrison) Roach. She married John H. Keith October 21, 1942 and he died December 2, 1999.
Virginia worked at Burgess Battery for 35 years until her retirement.
Surviving is her son, Gerald (Eileen) Keith of Glen Burnie, Maryland; two daughters, Karen (James) Lorenz of Venice, Florida and Regina (Craig) Drane of Pearl City; 6 grandchildren, John Keith of Baltimore, Maryland, Tracy Keith of Pasadena, Maryland, Christopher Lorenz of St. Cloud, Florida, Joshua Lorenz of Oak Creek, Wisconsin, Jason Drane of Pearl City, and Ben Drane of Aurora; 4 great grandchildren, Daniel Rapp, Colin, Connor and Evan Lorenz.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; 1 brother; 1 sister.
Private family services will be held
Burial will be in the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at Walker Mortuary.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established.
