Waldo Leon Hundertmark passed away on June 24, 2018, in Norridge, IL at the age of 91, succumbing to congestive heart failure after a protracted illness. Born on April 28, 1927, in German Valley, IL to Ethel (Schreiber) and Albert Hundertmark, Waldo lived in Freeport from 1951 until 2017 with his beloved wife of 66 years, Iva Ackerman Hundertmark. After serving in the Navy in the Pacific in the 1940s, Waldo worked as a printer at the Kable Printing Company in Mt Morris, IL until his retirement in 1987. His wife, parents and 3 brothers, Lyle, Eldon and Ronald Hundertmark, preceded him in death. He is survived by his sister Mae of Freeport; 2 daughters, Valerie Lindgren (James) of Chicago and Union Pier, MI and Colleen Seville (Douglas) of Chicago and Sarnia, Ontario, Canada; 1 granddaughter, Katharine Lindgren of Ortonville, MN; and multiple nieces and nephews.
