Obituary
Freeport-Wanda Ruth Brasche', 94, of Freeport, died Thursday, December 11, 2003, at the Freeport Rehabilitation & Health Care Center.
Born April 12, 1909 in Freeport she was the daughter of Burton and Carrie (Work) Spielman.
A cosmetician, she was a buyer of cosmetics for Drug Stores in Montana, Colorado, Utah and California retiring in 1973. She managed two apartment buildings in Denver Colorado for 11 years.
Surviving is one sister in-law, Florence Fawver of Freeport; three nieces, Sandra (Charles) Terpening and Dianne (Thomas) Mathews both of Freeport; Ardath Paris of St. Charles; two nephews, James (Susan) Spielman of Fulton and Thomas (Susan) Spielman of Freeport; 14 great nieces and great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son; 2 sisters; 1 brother.
Funeral service and burial will be Saturday 10 a.m. in the Chapel of Peace at Oakland Cemetery & Mausoleum.
There will be no visitation.
