Wayne G Triem, 80, of Lena, died Sunday, August 16, 2015 in Portage, Indiana.
Born September 24, 1934 in Joliet, Illinois he was the son of Phillip and Matilda (Scheer) Triem. He married Nancy Reid September 24, 1955 and she preceded him in death on May 24, 2002.
Wayne was a long time area farmer who also worked for the Lena School District. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
Surviving are his children, David Triem and Daniel (Linda) Triem both of Freeport; and Michael (Maggie) Triem of Portage, Indiana; his sister, Phyllis (Robert) Fosnaugh of Manhattan, Illinois; 6 grandchildren, Tamie, Amber, Derrik, and Chelsey Triem, Jackie Marvel, and C.J. Burmeister; 5 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; and brother, Norman.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, August 20, 2015 at Walker Mortuary. Burial will be in the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at Walker Mortuary.
