Obituary

Davis- William A. "Bill" Ihlenfeldt, 89 of Lake Summerset, Davis died Wednesday August 29, 2007 at his home in Lake Summerset, Davis.
Born May 19, 1918 in Ogema, Wisconsin he was the son of Herman and Bertha (Mess) Ihlenfeldt.
On July 17, 1942 he married Doris M. Salter in Port Huron, Michigan and she preceded him in death on July 27, 2004.
William was a regional sales manager for Port Huron Paper for 42 years.
He was a veteran of WWII, recipient of two Bronze Stars, and his fighting unit received the Presidential Citation.
He attended Trinity Lutheran Church in Durand
Bill was the last survivor of his family of 5 brothers and 3 sisters.
Surviving: Loving and caring son, Robert "Bob" (Linda) Ihlenfeldt of Lake Summerset, Davis; Loving daughters, Karen Anroman of Morris Plains, New Jersey and Kristine (George) Malos of Davis; one granddaughter, Elizabeth Anroman of Sea Grit, New Jersey; one grandson, James (Teresa) Anroman of Morristown, New Jersey; two great grandchildren, James Michael Anroman and Erin Margaret Anroman.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Doris, one granddaughter, Samantha Jean Ihlenfeldt; 4 brothers; 3 sisters; and his son-in-law, James Anroman.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Durand with the Reverend Lee Bennight officiating. Burial will be in the Durand Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday 9 a.m. until time of service at Trinity Lutheran Church, Durand.
A memorial has been established for Trinity Lutheran Church.
