William L. Brown, 47, of Freeport, died Sunday, October 25, 2015, at his home.
Born July 23, 1968 in Freeport he was the son of William and Shirley (Hienrich) Brown.
William was a local carpenter doing remodeling work.
He was a good guy who enjoyed his friends and family.
Surviving are his sister, Laura (Tim) Diehl of Rockford; his brother, Samuel Bryant of Freeport; nieces; nephews; and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
There will be a gathering for friends and family 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday, October 29, 2015 followed by a memorial service at 3:00 p.m. at Walker Mortuary.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in his name.
