William T. Chapman, 91, of Freeport, died Thursday, September 5, 2013, at his home.
Born March 8, 1922 in Little Falls, Minnesota he was the son of William C. and Louise (Thompson) Chapman.
He married Thelma W. Womble on September 10, 1947 and she died December 27, 1992.
William received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering.
He worked for the U.S. Army in Tennessee for six years. He then worked for Micro Switch and Honeywell until his retirement.
Surviving are his son, W. Kenneth Chapman of Freeport; one daughter, Kathryn (Greg Billig) Chapman of Swanville, Minnesota.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; three sisters; and one brother.
Funeral service with be 11 a.m. Monday, September 9, 2013 at Faith United Methodist Church with a visitation starting at 10 a.m.
Graveside services and burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Royalton, MN.
A memorial has been established for Faith United Methodist Church.
