William "Bill" J. Moeller, 71 of Freeport died Saturday May 1, 2010 at Stephenson Nursing Center.
Bill was born February 10, 1939 in Chicago to Raymond and Julia (Murray) Moeller. Shortly after his birth his mother passed away. His father married Agnes (Berger) who raised him as her son.
He was a veteran of U. S. Air Force. On July 5, 1963 he and Nancy Nath were married in Freeport.
Bill worked for the Journal Standard for 13 yrs, St. Vincent for 3yrs, Aquamatic in Rockford for 19 yrs, and Star Manufacturing until his retirement.
He was a member of East Gate Christian Center in Freeport.
He is survived by his wife Nancy of Freeport, three daughters Kimberly (Ronald) Morhardt of Rockford, Catherine (Travis) Rushing of Freeport, Rebecca (Jon) Bowers of Freeport; one son William Michael (Alicia) Moeller of Blue Springs, MO.; 8 grandsons, 1 granddaughter; 2 brothers Dr. Thomas (Providence) Moeller of Fredericksburg, VA, Daniel (Gloria) Moeller of Freeport; one sister Mary (Fred) Harweger of Freeport; many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Raymond and his sister Patricia.
