William S. Muto, 71, of Freeport, formerly of Ridott, was called to heaven
Sunday, December 26, 2010, at Manor Court in Freeport surrounded by his family.
Born November 15, 1939 in Lake Forest he was the son of Anthony and Francis (Bonner) Muto. He married W. Irene Hendon September 1, 1962.
He was a graduate of Lake Forest High School.
William was a lifetime periodical distributor of printed materials.
An avid Chicago Bear fan he loved hunting, fishing, antique tractors, and model trains.
He was a member of the NRA and the North American Hunting Club.
Surviving is his wife, Irene of Ridott; 3 sons, Don (Wendy) Muto of Freeport, Ken (Elaine) Muto of Ridott, and Craig (Wendy) Muto of Garrison North Dakota; 2 daughters, Bobbi (Dale) Meinert of Minot, North Dakota and Melissa (Kevin) Henze of Ridott; 9 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
There will be a gathering for family and friends Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at the Daughenbaugh Funeral Home in Dakota from4 to 7 p.m.
Following the gathering there will be a memorial service at 7 p.m. in the Daughenbaugh Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in his name for the Diabetes Association.
