William C. Schlamp Jr ., age 89 of Freeport, IL passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2019. Born to William and Mae Schlamp on June 1, 1930. He was drafted into the Army from 1951-1953 during the Korean War.

William worked for Ceramic Tile for 20 years before starting his own tile business and retired in 2000. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and was a long time member of the Eagles Club.

He is survived by son, Ray Domingues Jr., daughter Susan (Don) Parkhurst, daughter Jody (Jerry) Harnish, son William (Vicki) Schlamp III, 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren who he enjoyed spending time with. He is also survived by sister-in-law Jeanette Kunkle and brother-in-law Dave Haas. He was preceded in death by his wife Jean who he married in November of 1956 and she passed in September of 2005, his parents William and Mae, brothers Eugene, Richard, Duane and John Schlamp and sister Margaret Haas.

He enjoyed spending time with his friends at McDonald's who he met with daily and also met with his brother-in-law Dave Haas.

Cremation Rites have been accorded. No visitation or services. A private family get-together will be held at a later date.
